Chad Broussard, AIA, LEED AP

Raised in a rural town near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Chad developed a passion and fascination for the vitality of the urban environment.  He moved to New York to begin his career as an architect soon after earning his undergraduate degree.

Cities have always fascinated me - perhaps because I grew up in a rural location where the nearest city suffered suburban sprawl and a ghostly downtown.  The fabric and rhythm of townhouse lined streets,  the tall buildings, the energy, the creativity, and the unexpected, are all part of what make cities great.  I love New York. Each neighborhood has its own identity, its own scale and culture, yet each is unmistakably New York.  I believe that we can, and should, work within this fabric to realize the true potential of every property.

Chad began his career at the highly acclaimed architecture firm Deborah Berke Partners.  Chad’s first projects focused on the hospitality industry and multi-family interiors. Managing tight deadlines and budgets, Chad prioritized forward thinking design for the “here and now”.  Chad then honed his skills both designing and managing elegant and timeless residential projects ranging from apartment renovations to a residential compound on in Dutchess County.  Chad advanced from designer to project manager and then to Associate in 2015 . Chad was responsible for managing and designing over $30M in projects before founding Woven.

Chad holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Louisiana State University and a MS in Construction Management from New York University. Chad is a licensed architect in the State of New York.

Chad lives with his wife, Vané, and son, William, in Brooklyn where he has lived for over 15 years.
